At APAP|NYC 2017, January 6-10, APAP members, friends and colleagues from the performing arts industry gathered for five days of professional development, business deals and exciting performances. This year we celebrated our 60th anniversary and the conference brought together performing arts professionals who contribute to the flow of creativity, business, challenges to the norm and the dynamic thinking that will move forward the performing arts industry and the individuals who comprise it. Performing arts leaders, artists, managers, agents and presenters gathered in New York City from more than 35 nations and all 50 U.S. states to discuss important trends in performing arts, to explore challenges and opportunities anticipated for the future, and to conduct business by showcasing artists and connecting them to audiences in the U.S. and around the world.

About APAP|NYC:​

APAP|NYC is the annual membership conference of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters. Held each January in New York City, the conference is the world's largest networking forum and marketplace for performing arts professionals. More than 3,600 performing arts professionals from all 50 U.S. states and more than 30 countries convene in the city for five days of professional development, business deals and artist showcase performances.

APAP|NYC is the place to feel the pulse of the industry. Keynote speakers such as Taylor Mac, Rita Moreno, Ira Glass, Angélique Kidjo, Stephen Schwartz, John Kani, Rosanne Cash and Harry Belafonte inspire attendees. Innovators from various fields share knowledge. Colleagues exchange practices and problem-solving techniques. The popular EXPO Hall is the one-stop networking hotspot with 370 exhibition booths, and more than 1,000 artist showcases make up a mini festival of the performing arts.
